Vorbeck Princeton Research Center

Bridging fundamental graphene research and innovative product development

The VPRC keeps Vorbeck at the forefront of graphene technology by providing a critical link between fundamental graphene research in academia and advanced graphene product development.

At Vorbeck, we continually invest in research and development, and our engineers, scientists and researchers are working to develop the next graphene breakthrough.

Vorbeck established the Vorbeck Princeton Research Center (VPRC) (Monmouth Jct., New Jersey), to facilitate faster development of new products and processes through closer coordination between the research performed at Princeton University and product development and manufacturing at Jessup, Maryland. Researchers at the VPRC also work closely with international research networks, government laboratories, and industrial partners. More information and publications from our VPRC researchers collaborations with Princeton University and other partners can be found here.

The VPRC includes wet chemical laboratories, analytical, electrochemical, and energy storage test facilities, and the VPRC also houses pilot-scale equipment for fiber spinning and other process development activities.

The VPRC provides Vorbeck with unique capabilities in graphene development by being able to connect all phases of graphene technology form fundamental research, to production, to final products ready for end customers.
